Heat in a Click

These handy "Heat-in-a-Click" pads provide instant and portable heat up to 54 degrees simply by clicking the disc inside them.  They are great for aches and pains and the large one shown is designed to give relief from back pain and sports industry.
Totally reuseable, portable and require no electricity or microwave to create the instant heat.  The pads are recharged by boiling them in advance for 7-12 minutes.  Once charged the pads cool down and are primed for use whenever you need them.

Max Factor Lipfinity - Lip colour that does stick

If you get tired of your lipstick not living up to the "stick" part then Lipfinity could be for you.
Lipfinity by Max Factor describes itself at a paint but I'd call it almost a stain for your lips that really does last.  Lipfinity comes both with the colour itself which has a sponge tipped applicator, as well as a gloss stick as a top-coat.

A wonderful moisturising cream for hands, lips or dry skin.  This eight-hour cream from Elizabeth Arden has a great reputation and is a health and beauty classic.  It is claimed that this was in fact the original Elizabeth Arden product and has an almost cult following.

Bye-Bye Panda Eye

Some people never wear mascara because by lunchtime they end up with infamous panda-eyes.

Blinc is a salvation for this because it is rubber based and forms what they call "tubes" around your lashes that don't smudge or create black rings around your eyes.  You don't need special eye make-up remover either since just warm water and gentle pressure will remove the "tube" quickly and easily leaving little rubber strips on your face-cloth. 

Although you use warm water to remove Blinc, it's largely water-proof - I suspect it would take five-star, tear-jerker movie tears to come off - and even then you'd just end up with little pieces of rubber on your cheek that are easily picked off.

You can buy Blinc mascara from the Fishpond website by clicking on the image on the right.  It sells for $35 at the time of writing but may change.  They also sell a Blinc liquid eyeliner and a heated lash curler but I've not tried these.

The Bar of Soap that Shaves

Imagine if you could shave your legs by just rubbing a bar of soap over them!

That's just what it feels like using Schick Intuition shavers because the blades are completely surrounded by a bar of soap - not a silly little gel strip like some other shavers.  When you use Intuition you barely notice the blades at all which means you can shave your legs in record time.  The shaver comes with a suction cup hanger so you can hang it on your shower wall.  I love this shaver and recommend you try it.

You can get Schick Intuition from supermarkets, Kmart and pharmacies and it costs less than $20 which includes two spare shaving cartridges which for me last a couple of months depending on hour frequently you shave.

Yes Fishpond is defintely one of my favourite websites because it lets me buy my favourite perfumes much more cheaply.

Nasal Aspirator - the "snot-sucker"

The concept of this product is disgusting, but the reality is that little babies simply don't know how to blow their noses.

A nasal aspirator has a soft bulb that you squeeze to create a vacuum and suck the mucus out of your baby's nose.  As gross as it sounds it will make your baby's breathing more comfortable.  The nozzle and bulb separate for easily cleaning.

You can get the nasal aspirator as shown on its own at the Fishpond website but they also have a nursery kit which is great value at around $30 (discounted) and includes a nasal aspirator, a digital thermometer, a medicine dropper, measuring spoon and baby nail clippers all in a zippered case.
