Ceramic Art
Morris & James has spectacular ceramic art pieces for both indoors and outdoors. My favourite is my ceramic fantail (see Home Design/Outdoor Design) but their platters and bowls are stunning as well. I have my eye on the 49cm Red Pohutukawa platter ($135) and the 37cm Grey & Red Poppy bowl ($129).
In the Wall Art collection they also have panels including a 3-piece spectacular Mt Taranaki set with each panel 18cm wide and a large Pohutukawa panel too. These truly are works of art and, being ceramic, they are quality items. Amazing Murals
If you want a feature wall with a difference look out for wallpaper murals. This solar system mural came in six wallpaper pieces. Sadly they weren't pre-pasted and so they needed sizing but the effect is fantastic.
You can get a wide range of mural options including cute baby ones. The solar system one seemed good value for boys since they won't out-grow it quickly - its cool even for teenage boys. A map of the world mural for home offices are also great - easy reference for the kids doing homework.
