Cherry Stoner - making Cherries even more Delightful

Fresh cherries are my favourite taste of Summer and this wonderful little gadget lets you enjoy them stone-free.  
​There is nothing more decadent and delicious than popping a pitted cherry in your mouth and there are some situations where the stone being removed is a real bonus:

1. If you want to give fresh cherries as a healthy treat to young children, you can remove the worry of them choking on the stone by pitting them first.
2. My favourite summer dessert is a black & red fruit salad. Stoned cherries are an important part of this.
3. If you have a bowl of cherries out for guests (young or old), dealing with the stones can be a slight embarrassment removing them from mouths, little piles of stones or a small bowl of mouthed stones. A bowl of already stoned cherries removes this issue all together.

To operate you simply open the stoner, position the cherry or olive and then squeeze it closed above a bowl.  The stone is pushed out by the silver striker pin shown in the picture. 
This same handy utensil can also be used to  remove olive pits.
